Default Open and Close Ports

If anyone has some info on how to open and close ports on their modems &/or routers then please share the info. I know how to do it on my own modem, but I want to be able to teach others how to do it on their modem. Port settings can be change with any modem or router, but they each have different ways to do it. If you would like to help just post here. I want to be able to tell people how to change port settings. I must first learn from others how. Here is what I need to know.

Modem/Router Brand=
Model number=
What you have to do to edit port settings=

Here is one example of what I want to make. I need to know the same info as they give on this link. Images arnt required but it would be nice.
