Default Add a network printer

If you have a computer that has a printer that is being "shared" then you can add that printer to all your computers. In simpler terms you can print wireless with a wired computer in another room. If you dont know how to enable your printer to share then you've skipped an article and you first need to read this article before adding a network print. How do you print using wireless without a shared printer? You cant so please read it. If you have read it then keep reading.

Before continuing you will need to know the following info:

1. Your Computers name.

2. Your shared printers name.

With that info in your head or written down, now we can get down to it.

First we need to go to our control panel. Start->Control Panel

Next we need to click on Printers and Faxes

The we click on Add Printer

The Wizard will open up and we hit next.

Then we choose what kind of printer we want. Choose the second option.

Then we can use the easy was and browse for the printer or we can do what I did and add it manually.

Your done!!!
